About the Event

Reenactor and historian Eunice White of Akwaaba Heritage Tours in Rochester, will deliver  some of escaped slave and activist Sojourner Truth's words of advocacy for equal rights, women’s rights and suffrage, including her “Ain’t I A Woman?” speech. The event is free; half price gate fee of $7.50 for entrance to Sonnenberg Gardens. Co-Sponsored by Sonnenberg Gardens
