About the Event

Christopher Densmore, former curator of Friends Historical Library at Swarthmore College and Quaker scholar will speak on Mott’s vital role in the great social reforms of her time. Immediately following, photographer Laura Densmore will give a Powerpoint presentation: "Quaker Meetinghouse Architecture in the Delaware Valley of Pennsylvania". Her 25 minute presentation will include comments on aspects of the buildings specific to Quaker worship and beliefs. Co-Sponsored by Farmington Friends Meeting
