About the Event

They’ve been called part of “a new Underground Railroad.” Sister Beth Niederpruem of the Vive House, a refugee support project of the Jericho Rd. Community Health Center in Buffalo, and two refugees will speak on the work Vive House is doing with refugees and the issues and challenges they face. Vive House shelters asylum seekers waiting for appointments and interviews with the Canadian Border Services Agency.

The presentation is about one hour, followed by informal Q&A discussion with refreshments.

Free and open to public.
